Community Involvement

The Crafty Bean is committed to supporting charitable nonprofit organizations within the communities we serve that align with our vision and overall mission. We primarily focus on events, programs, and projects that benefit our community.  Our giving is focused on three areas:

• K-12 Education
• Domestic & Dating Violence Prevention & Education
• Programs designed to feed, house, clothe, and/or directly assist the needy

The Crafty Bean can't donate to every worthy program, business, or cause that matches our areas of interest as we have limited resources and many requests.

We do not provide donations to the following:

• Political purposes
• Individuals
• Organizations or programs that discriminate based on race, gender, disability, religion, nationality, or sexual orientation
• Organizations or programs without a primary focus on one or more of the above three areas of focus 
• Organizations or programs that are not part of the communities we serve

To ensure a fair and efficient process, we require all donation requests to be submitted in writing. We do not discuss donations over the phone.  You can submit your request by mail, email, or in person during our regular business hours at The Crafty Bean.
